The Children's Home

is situated at the shores of Lake Victoria which, in terms of surface area, is the second largest fresh water lake in the world. It is also one of the Nile’s two sources.

At its deepest Lake Victoria is 84 m deep. It is 337 km long and 240 km wide. It also has more than 3,000 islands, many of which are inhabited.

Is an assistant organization in Sweden for the Musoma Children’s Home.

The association was registered in January 2007 and its main purpose is to inform the public about the children’s home and its work. Also, to collect and act as an intermediary for the supply of funds needed for the running of the children’s home.

The association works on a voluntary basis
and all donations are in their entirety
forwarded to the children's home.

The administrative seat of the association is in Sweden whereas the collection of funds in Finland is conducted in co-operation with the Filadelfia Church in Mariehamn.
